Types of naturalisation
Three forms of naturalisation exist for foreign residents: ordinary, facilitated, and re-naturalisation. The canton of Zurich has applied a new law since July 2023.
If you submitted your application before 30 June 2023, the previous law applies. It governs your entire naturalisation procedure.
